F.a.q.s

We hope we have covered all the possible questions, please, if you have any other queries, contact us through the website and we will be glad to answer anything for you.

Its simple really, just fill out the Contact questionnaire and we will return your query within 24 hours.
When filling out the questionnaire, its very important to be clear on your arrival and departures dates, and also the number of people in your group.
No, as a company we organise everything from golf, transport, accommodation, caddies and restaurants. If you are looking to visit some of the local tourist attractions, tickets can be included in the overall cost of the holiday.
Your golf is booked first. The top resorts and courses are heavily booked out so its important to arrange confirmed tee times.
Payment can be made by electronic transfer using our IBAN number. Also we have a secure online credit card facility through Paypal. Payment is also accepted using our Stripe account.
When you book your golf trip with us, we require a 30% non refundable deposit, the remainder is then due approx 6 weeks prior to your arrival date.
If there is a reduction in numbers, you need to notify us here no later than 30 days from the commencement of your tour. Failure you do so and the client is liable for full payment of green fees.
Generally you will receive your itinerary once the deposit is paid and green fees are confirmed.
Depending which tour you decide on, you will need Euros for the Republic and British Pounds for Northern Ireland.
If you are getting a rental for the tour, then you will need your drivers licence, other documents will be passport and handicap cert ( if asked). If you have a medical condition, it is always wise to have some documentation in case of emergencies.
On arrival, you be greeted at the airport by your driver. Depending on the length of your stay, he will be with you for the duration of your stay. Under EU legislation, all coaches are fitted with a tachograph, this measures the length of your drivers day. the driver also cannot drive for more than 9 hours in a 24 hour period and also needs a rest period of 11 hours at the end of his day. So when booking a tour, we take time in planning departures from hotels and golf courses etc to make sure everything is within the regulations. So I would suggest not to be late in the mornings. With regards tipping, we suggest 10 to 15 euros per person per day.
if you have a problem with golf or your accommodation, you will be given a contact number for us here in the office. Any other emergencies, your driver will be your point of contact.
yes of course, groups are made up of golfers and non golfers, so yes we provide trips to local tourist attractions. However, some of these attractions may have a cover charge which is not part of your overall cost. If you would like us to book tickets for such places, please let us know in advance.
Depending on the size of the group, we have 3 options. Self drive but that can be risky as we drive on the other side of the road. Luxurious coaches from 4 passengers upwards. Or go all out and lets book you a helicopter.
What types of accommodation do we provide?
When booking your tour with us, the golf, hotels and transfers will all be prepaid 6 weeks in advance to your arrival date. Things such as caddies, evening meals, lunches tourist attractions or buggies s are all covered by you when you get here.
Extremely important that each individual member of the group has taken out insurance.
Here in Ireland we are blessed with some of the finest links in the world. We have 4 main areas. The South West serviced by Shannon and Cork airports. The Dublin/ East region is serviced by Dublin airport. The North/ North West are close to Belfast and Dublin airports. And finally The West has Shannon as its Closest international airport.
Our golfing season runs from the 1st March right through til the end of October. Outside of that. it may get rather cold, wet or windy. All three could very easily happen!
The answer to that is yes and no. Caddies are mainly booked through us , 99% of courses offer this service but need to be booked well in advance. Regarding buggies, yes some courses do allow buggies and some do not. Again, more information can be given depending where you plan to play.
In Ireland, you do not need to provide certificates when playing the smaller course but may be asked in the more well known courses.
When paying for your caddie, he is paid by you on completion of your round. Prices vary so we suggest you check out the caddie charge and then round it off. For example, caddie costs $55, then round it up to $70.
Yes of course, if for some reason your clubs didn’t arrive at the same time, rentals can be got at all the courses.
Each golf club has different dress codes. We suggest you wear golfing attire and leave the denims til nighttime. Jackets or ties are not required.
